Stillness Decends

Twilight wraps its arms around the sultry sun
           Colors of the day’s farewell dance into view
       Silhouettes of harmonic souls caressing us as one
           We swing together over life’s ripples of dew
 
                  Echoes of stillness descend blissful in the night
                     Holding me till the moon winks her smile of light
