Still Your Thoughts

Turn your heart to the word of God

         Still your thoughts
         Silence your tongue
         Surrender your ego

             ~ His Will be done

You figured it out, Smita. Back in my school days, I was known as 'Simple Wolf.' Nothing's changed either. ... Thanks, Gershon

Saw this on the Top 100 Poem's List so I had to run over. You summed up my own beliefs so well as shown in my poem, "Quiet Meditation". To me, ego is an acronym for Edging God Out. I wrote one of those A to Z poems on Passion I think you might find steamy! Tried to keep it rated PG so I wouldn't get in any trouble. Blessings ... CayCay

Well said succinctly. It takes a lot for we humans to surrender. His will be done is a great finish
