The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Still Waters

On a cloudless day
when the wind is silent
the pond is peaceful;
the fish rest easily
holding on.

God can drop a stone
from Heaven
into your mind;
ripples will form
guiding your steps.

"Be still, and know that I am God."
Ps 46:10

I got a critique on another site that the lines: "the fish rest easily holding on." don't work. Do you agree? SKB, who wrote this poem.
