The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Still Sweet 16 At 18

HS Senior Finals
Are you going to the dance?
I'd take a chance;
say you might give me a call,
but you're the know it all;

Do you know I write your name
and you're to blame
if I fail this test I need,
but you are all I read;

I can see you seeing me,
yes I can see,
you might think I'm on a string
but I'm not anything;

I could tell you so much more,
but it's a bore,
I mean, I mean what I say
and wish you'd go away;

there's the bell, another chance,
we'll never dance,
I know what it's all about,
but I'm not putting out.

What a beautiful day and how wonderful it is to be able to read what was on your mind and in your heart when you wrote this poem Vee. I hope you have a weekend full of new found inspiration. Love, Carol
