Still Real To Me

I saw you then, I see you still. Behind my eyes, it felt so real. The look of your heart, The smell of your hair; It lingers still, a beauty so rare. The ways that we talked, The way that we danced, The way that we walked, Even just holding hands. You've gone from my life, So long now ago, Still I am not ready To hear you say, "No." Locked in my heart, Are memories of you. Never again, I fear this may be true. But so long as you're here, As long as I breathe, Behind these eyes of mine, You're still real to me.
