Challenge Dates: August 10, 2026 - August 16, 2026.

Still No Joy

our lives are day and night
but we are real, whole, and free

two far flung souls

     yet you're the one
who reached out to me

     with your plea

        you're the one
  who sparked the small talk

that led to the long walk

I can trace it on a board
          with white chalk

              up to that point
          where you signed off

       y o u c h a n g e d

now it's all moot
          as you stay mute

while I still try to reach out
as best I can ...
