Still Mcgee
Wee Luck McGee, dragging his feet
reluctantly entered the pub
Removing his hat, grabbed a seat where he sat
As he gave the old bar rail a rub
There, Good Ol' Finn stood there again
His turn, for him to tend bar
"So what will it be" He said to McGee
"A whiskey? Perhaps a cigar?"
"No, not fur me" mumbled McGee
As a lone tear started to fall
"I'll jus 'ave a beer, put it right 'ere
I'm afraid dat's gonna be all"
Finn was concerned and eager to learn
So he asked "What's the matter McGee"
"You're looking so down, wearing a frown
that everyone here plainly sees"
McGee took a sip, used his sleeve, wiped his lips
Then proceeded to tell his sad tail
"Me and Da Misses got inta a fight"
He said, as he slowly turned pale
"It was rough, she was tough and she said in the end
She'll not speak to me far turdy (30) days
"Well that's not so bad, there's no need to look sad
Said Finn, It's only a faze"
"You don't understand, 'Cause you're a kind man,
and I'm sorry if this seems abrupt
but I'll tell you no lie, the reason I cry
'Cause today da month is now up"
