Still Loving You

The amnesia of you tries to live in me... Erase our splendid memories ... I'm afraid to forget those astonish moments ... I realize that the happiness i held one day I will not have again ... Life has betrayed us, and I cry for your absence ... I miss your laugh, even the screams when in disagreements ... We parted without farewell without I love you, without "we will meet again"... I'd love having had known you best... I would love to have grown with you ... stay by your side forever ... But we were not allowed. Your presence so fleeting still lives in me and in this unbalanced life... your missing figure still serves me as a guide ...!

Alkas we share similar feelings. I've only written a few serious poems of love and loss. I hide behind what I call my sense of humor, but your poem speaks very well for me. This poem is beautiful in its sadness. Thank you.
