Still I Stand Part One

Instead of swinging your sword like peter pan, lend a helpful hand. Why shed blood upon the sand. The lord created earth to be a blissful and peaceful land. All of the malice wasn't apart of is plan. On the other hand, I firmly stand ,from this spot they wish I was banned. While I try to expand, my success on this land. Help us to understand your high command,on this land. Touch our hearts with your saving hand. Help my brethren to understand the endeavors, of another man. Many times we misunderstand the intended plan, ready to lay each others head on a plate. Lord help us to have faith, in your upper hand. In the heat of the world I firmly stand.

This is a well-written poem, I enjoyed reading it today, each verse tells a unique story which is oh so true! If man would just learn to love and respect one another how much better this world would be. Good write.
