Still Here

I'm still here
Do you hear confidence in my voice?
My mom calls me a believer
I was born like that
It ain't her fault
You would say :"Dear,
I don't want to see you no more
You look like a deceiver
I still have enough sense
to pound salt" ohoh

Every time when you hear my name( oh, yeah)
You wish to run away from me
It is easily to say (what?)
That I'm the only one who's in a mess ( damn, yes)

You want to stop it
You are done and it's enough
You know exactly
There's no treatment for sceptical heart
I'd like to help you
I want to prove that I deserve
But all my words went unheard
And your hate is well-preserved

Hello Alisa Balaieva, I like the poem Alisa,I have a question: Why would he preserve his hate? Have a nice day my friend.

Hi Darlene, Thanks for your interesting question.Well, I suppose there are lots of possible reasons for this hate. People used to judge others having some stereotypes in their head, and they can't get rid of this. That's kind of hypocrisy. They judge and criticize without even trying to understand you at first. What do you think about that, Darlene?
