Still Here

I watered my roots And felt them grow Until they hit bedrock And cannot grow anymore Days burn slow And I'm still here Years fly by And I'm still here Leaves formed a crown But they have become brown Once so exuberant They slowly fall out Forests disappeared But I'm still here Sunrise and sunset repeat But I'm still here
