"still Beautiful"
We are so consumed with news of war and death..
Our minds and soul covered with terror I bet..
A simple picture of child playing ball,
or couple walking in love I can recall..
Helping an older women carry her bags up the stairs,
or a young man on a date holding out a chair..
On the train, giving up your seat for a lady,
or a young mom and daughter with her hair being braided..
On to the park as a father and son have a first catch,
or elderly couple sitting together as their smiles match..
Well I hope these things remind us of how beautiful we can be,
just a simple act of kindness can bring a smile you see..
