Still Asking
Did I walk that distance for nothing?
Did I ask that question to no avail?
Am I wanting to go to heaven when I die?
Or would I wind up otherwise in hell?
My questions are never really answered
I only get responses rather pro or con
I suppose it’s like howling at the moon
Or asking something serious from a true blonde
I walk this earth in search of those answers
I lie awake at night and ponder as well
Perhaps I am living out a fantasy
Incorporated by some evil spell
I know that right is right in all occasions
And left is always somewhere out of sync
That why I stay on board and ask these questions
Instead of lying in the sewer that stinks
