Sticks and Stones

The stones that are thrown to break my bones
Pile up to they start to weigh
And the sticks don't decay
Nor do the words that you say
That I thought would never hurt me

unkind words can be even more painful than physical punches, the damage can't be seen on the outside and the hurt remains long after bruises would fade:-( hugs Jan xx
