Stickes and Stones

“Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me” Said the person who never fell in love. Who never witnessed white lies said by him, Who never witnessed the canvas of my heart Painted with untruthful words said by him. How can I say words don't hurt me When they shatter my soul and heart into glass pieces That glisten in the sun created by pain.
