"stethoscope My What ?"

The room will be cold, but all that will change
These rumors I'm told are all prearranged

If the Doc asks you to cough, explain the female race
If he says "Your kidneys got rocks" keep a straight face

If he's younger than you don't be amazed
Their people too, now the X rays!

Hold still, not to move
I can solemnly approve

Imagine being called back for a redo

Funny for sure! Hits the nail right on the head, Mitch!...I have had 'kidney rocks' in the past. One was a whopper!...No sleep for 3 days! Worst pain I ever felt...finally went to the doc and had that sucker zapped! Congrats to you on the win - Tim

The younger doctors can't compare to my old, retired doctor who even made a house call when needed, Mitch. Enjoyed the humor in your poem. Many of the Soup's best humor writers provided a lot of laughs. There were many great entries and it was hard ranking them as each one gave me a laugh. Congratulations on your win! Love, Carolyn

:) Thanks for supporting the contest, Mitch. Could you make it 10 lines instead of 12? Love, Carolyn
