Steps

Verse 1
Step one
The introduction
The part that
Opens up discussions
That should have been brought to the table
Instead you wanted a title or a label
Knowing that you weren't able
To do
All the things you said
We're you really just messing with my head
Or was it real and true
That I have to take the steps
To fall in love with you

(Chorus )
I could climb
Up a ladder
Get to the top
But does that mean my feelings are going to stop
Or should I put my guard up
And block

(Verse 2)
Maybe we missed a few things
Like toughing it out
No matter how hard it seems
I want to hear them
I mean your dreams
I know you would want the same vice versa
This is real
Don't need rehearsal
No need to rehearse
Rewind it back to the first verse
Trust me things
Could've been
A perfect love
From beginning to end
The mix of a perfect blend

Chorus )
I could climb
Up a ladder
Get to the top
But does that mean my feelings are going to stop
Or should I put my guard up
And block

(Bridge )
I'm climbing
Climbing
Trying to reach the top
We're elevating to greatness it won't stop .
I'm climbing
Climbing trying to reach the top
We're elevating to greatness
It won't stop

Chorus )
I could climb
Up a ladder
Get to the top
But does that mean my feelings are going to stop
Or should I put my guard up
And block

Repeat until chorus fades
