Steeped In Tears

I see a world steeped in tears of sorrow,
there is so much bigotry, greed, and hate,
that I fear what fate awaits tomorrow.
As politicians scam you to donate,
corruption flows like an open floodgate.
Depriving women of having a choice;
fascists and evangelists share one voice.
The uneducated support a fool,
and both political parties rejoice;
the poorly informed are a useful tool.

Darlene De Beaulieu July 2, 2024 at 4:41 PM Emile, another thing i want to bring up. the fireworks began in June not July. It began on the 28th till July 1st. There was 5 days of fireworks!! I am tired. My catr Sparkles was restless all this time. I hope there wil not be any fireworks tonight. Darlene De Beaulieu July 2, 2024 at 4:34 PM Emile the people that were doing the fireworks were throwing the lit fireworks at people. A baby carriage got hit with fireworks. A lady running to her car got hit by fireworks. It is not safe to go to a park any more. I believe that fireworks should be banned. My friend enjoy your evening. I wish the world cloud live in piece and not pieces. Emile i do not know how your Canada's Day went. But where i live I would never go to a park ever again. At victoria Park were fireworks.
