"In the rhythm of fishing, there is peace"- Author unknown

You'll find a rainbow in rivers and lakes Cast a rod, a fly for bait Just one strike is all it takes Alongside a boulder they'll sit and wait "Fish on" I say...when water breaks A fly fisherman's ultimate fight A rainbow-colored steelhead trout To reel one in is pure delight "Fish on" again, we scream or shout With each and every catching bite So long, my friend...my precious prize Perhaps we'll meet again, we'll have to see If again you strike my drifting flies But you might just want to stay away from me If I hook you when your elite in size Your taste, my buds...don't like at all Aged meat- with trout, tastes old If I catch you again, you may be in for a long haul And I hope I do not sound so bold But I just might set you on my wall

Excellent poem. I am not a fly fisherman. I prefer live bait and some lures but I know how you feel. It is the challenge

Hello my friend, your poem is a lively, reflective piece about the experience of fly fishing, blending the excitement of the sport with a touch of humor and reverence for the fish caught. Through its rhythmic structure and vivid imagery, the poem captures the anticipation, struggle, and personal connection between the fisherman and the fish.

Ah dear charles, it is so good to see you writing and posting again, your words flow so well and i love how descriptive it is: my son loves fishing, i do sometimes enjoy doing too sunset fishing with him. So the quote did hit deep. And also this reminds me of those fishermen that work so hard: Pleasure always reading you. Sending you light always
