steaming sidewalks terrorizing cats and dogs injuring their paws my shirt is soaked sweat running down my back one hundred degrees autumn welcome where is october i yearn for her breeze

Since I got home a heat wave has hit...in the 90s, like it was out west. The sky has darkened and promising rain, but so far none. Perhaps it will cool down.
