Steamboat Rock

In this land by a lake
mountains and trees
sound of birds
distant voices at play
atop a rock
typing this
for you and for me;
God is loving.
Teaching love through
the fives senses He
adorned us with
such quiet angels
as we saw and toss,
climbing mountains
paddling towards islands
and getting lost in His arms.
Such gentle, bold love.
