Staying Young
It makes sense to keep the body in shape, for
None is sure as to what qualifies getting old
Yet getting older is a fact of life: none differ
But considering ‘old’ is not commendable.
Growing older is unavoidable and physical
This makes one uncomfortable and snappy
Compelling to opt for cosmetic treatments
That helps look somewhat like former self.
All the makeup undertaken so earnestly
Does not prevent the clock from ticking
It is surely the body grows old with age but
Feeling ‘old’ is an odd outlook individual.
