Stay True To Love
Today is the day I play the fool,
No matter what anyone thinks, or says, or might do,
I'll stay true to myself, and true to love,
They don't have to agree with what's in my heart,
Opinions will fly from one direction to the next,
I could care less about the rumors that spread,
If my heart gets broken, I will heal,
I would rather face the love that's real,
I don't want to question my heart, or live with regret,
I've decided to share my heart instead,
And if negative opinions formulate based on others ideas,
I will keep in mind they never took the time to search my heart for real.
