Stay True
Being desired,
I’m inspired,
To reach past,
And outlast,
The final star,
Infinitely far,
But my reach,
Can breach,
Every lock and key,
As far as eyes can see,
The air is unclean,
The beats are obscene,
And I breathed,
Felt so relieved,
To find myself,
A soul’s true wealth,
I’ve been tested,
Often rested,
Knowing the day would show,
When my skin would glow,
Can you feel my flow?
I doubt you know,
The distance,
And resistance,
I had to face,
Stayed in the race,
To be here now,
My heart is how,
Steady follow within,
The only way to begin,
The path to dreams,
Although it seems,
A rigid route,
Forbid all doubt,
To be you-
Stay true.
