Stay Home She Says

Cell phone plays a familiar tune I glance toward my husband Yours he says. I do not answer Not one to run toward a phone Phone announces it is our daughter She rarely calls I walk toward the phone Possibly getting it on the last ring She is on her way over to visit Good news. Maybe social distancing is over? She is our trained epidemiologist. Not on our life. She came over to caution me To stay home

Good for your daughter! The virus IS out there. People are still dying at alarming rates... And 25 states are seeing appalling rises in cases and hospitalizations. Florida had over 4,000 new cases today, over 3x what it was averaging at the height of the first wave... If we don't take this seriously, we're on our way to semi-extinction as a country... But WE have to be so FREE. Oy vey! :) gw

My twin is furious that her church is making it mandatory for the congregates to wear masks if they attend. She says it violates her rights. I asked about the rights of the others. She is not interested in those rights of course. Snicker. Snicker.
