Stay Awake
finding it harder just to stay awake
with these thoughts seems so fake
had a dream that involved you
talking all night until we where blue
i held your hand and looked into your eyes
told you we would be together until we died
with that glare you stared me down
took off running all around town
something is wrong , how could i go on
saw you on a corner covered chiffon
dead is the night when you took flight
only the shadows can make it alright
everything has changed nothing very real
all of my thoughts in a box you steal
i can only imagine what would become of us
how you can rule the night of nothingness
wake me from this dream i stand and say
for reality is my dream i can't stay away
