Stay

Stay With Me Forever

Please don’t make me cry
Stay with me forever
Don’t leave before me
I don’t want to sleep alone
Even though you snore
Put your cold legs on me
And rarely cook my tea
Stay with me forever
I’ve got the short straw
And I want to check out
First; couldn’t stand the pain
Of never seeing you again
I’m crying as I write and
You’re in the next room
Sleeping, it’s the middle
Of the night. Pain comes
With the first fears of
Dread. Hang around forever
You’re stronger than me
And you’ve got more friends
I’ve got noone but you
And only you will do.
Keep snoring so I can hear
Reassured, happy, you’re near.
Stay with me forever and
Let me say goodbye to you.
