Statue of Sorrow

In the outskirts of the lesser known city... Where even the Sun might hesitate to go... Glorifying the height of obscurity... Stood the stupendous Statue of Sorrow...! As though this statue is made to bear The burden of the universe... The load of every sigh & tear... As the lone victim of every curse...! The body is distorted....& the head tilted... As though years of pain have diffused in it... Like a flower of yore... discarded,wilted... Like a man bereft of youthful grit ! Like a frozen corpse...the Statue stands.... As the remnant of a lost generation... Speaking volumes of those rare hands... That made pain a beautiful manifestation! But not many know the existence... Of this symbolic sculpture...awesome art... That portrays pain &,also,negligence... & finds a place in the rare onlooker's heart...!
