Starting Over

All the words I have written, About my love for you, Make me nauseous. All the tears I have cried, For this miserable story, Have not been worth it. Your eyes were cold sapphires, On that hot summer morning, When we parted. Your hands were love, Only for a moment, Before it was over. Never thought it would be you, I would fall for, So much that I cannot breathe. Now in the fading light of candles, I put down my pen, Refusing to remember.
