Starting Over

Long has it been since I’ve been content
Sacrifices I’ve made…
Dreams I’ve let stray…
Long has it been with wasted time spent

This emptiness has taken its toll
I need passion…
Love everlasting…
This emptiness kills my soul

Today I pledge a new course for life
Find my soul mate…
A woman to relate…
Today I pledge myself to my future wife

Wisdom gained will guide our union
Lessons learned…
Feelings discerned…
Wisdom gained will prevent ruin

I can tell you that every hurt you experienced had to happen for you to eventually find the person you are meant to be with...and it will all be worth it...you would not have changed a thing :)
