Starting Again, Hand In Hand

Sometimes I wonder
What the hell I’m doing here
Sometimes I ask myself
Will I ever endure
This pain

I don’t see any hope in me
I am so broken
I can’t even fight for what I believe
They all expect me to be strong
What if they’re all wrong

We all
Have a story to tell
We all
Have been through our own hell
It’s time that we join hand in hand
So we can make it to the promised land

I have failed so many times
I’ve believed my own lies
Inside I know I’m not good enough
Inside I feel like giving up
I tried to be like them
But I just fail again and again

I’ve been thrown away
I’ve lost the light of day
I still cry at night
From losing the fight
In the end
Will anyone remember
Who I am

We all
Have a story to tell
We all
Have been through our own hell
It’s time that we join hand in hand
So we can make it to the promised land

It’s time that we forget the past
Hold on to a love that will last
This life will take so much from you
It’ll make you forget the truth
We need to be the light in the dark
Flames will start with a spark
No matter where you’ve been
We can be born again
Let’s hold on to the light
Together we’ll make it through the fight

We all
Have a story to tell
We all
Have been through our own hell
It’s time that we join hand in hand
So we can make it to the promised land
