Starting a Past
It was a second ago
That time is now gone
Take what you have learned
And carry it on.
Minutes, hours, days, and months
Have gone by
You now have a history behind you
There, it must silently ly
A reflection of the years
That show your age
Is just another chapter for tomorrow
Starting with an empty page
Read, write, and live the moment
The first line is already the past
Plan to love from this moment forward
For this is the memory that will last
