Start of Something New
Today we got to hang out for the first time
And though we weren't sure what we were gonna do
I think it all worked out just fine
Had a really great day with you
From lunch to riding around
Even walked around the pet store
Laughing at all the things we found
Though we'd never hung out before
You wouldn't have known it if you'd seen us out
Felt like we'd been friends for a while
With you I wasnt scared or full of doubt
Since then I've done nothing but smile
And every time my phone lights up, I hope its you
Somehow you know just what to say
What time we had together seems like it flew
But tomorrow is another day
And I hope I get to spend more time with you!
