Stars Stir and Wink
when twilight comes soon the night falls
and I lay my head on my pillow
while up above the stars sprawl
oh, my bedroom curtains billow
so, I rise and go to my window
and I find myself drifting in the dark sky
to see a zillion twinkling stars
(but, I didn't know I could fly)
and I notice one star stirs
oh, I think this is my beloved that lures
and then more stars stir and wink at me
and I glide and fly that way
such a wonderful feeling of carefree
until the stars fade into day
and back to my bed I go to lay
