STARS OF CLARITY
Doubts crept
Ever slowly
Inching up my spine
A silent moon
Peered
From behind
Dark clouds
A shadow lingered
On my soul
Temptingly
Tantalizing
A shudder
Cagily
Clenched
My chest
Tore out my heart
Held it
Before the hidden moon
Its thundering longing
Beseeching
The stars of clarity
With a pounding
Ferocity
The moon
Applauding
In an awakening
Sky
