Stars of Clarity

As surging frustrations prey on neglected hearts and jaded minds, washing away the resistance with blasphemous tears, trickling down upon suppressed fears; I choose myself above all wounds and wicked souls with nefarious intentions, whilst drifting towards pains of hidden crossroads, paired with stars of clarity, guiding me away from repetitive galaxies bursting with sunken astral clusters, aligned in a black hole of apathy. When communication drowns down, with comprehension wasted— near or far— struck by sinful scribes of an ominous silhouette seeking redemption, yet upon a star-crossed fate, I find beauty fraying at the edges, expelled by brimming hostility. Sinister memories of yesterday, shape shifts hearts into strangers in disguise, breathing in discontent, purging the hate that burns deep into my flesh and bones, where scars—old and new, like crestfallen stars; drift endlessly towards its reclusive passing.

My gosh, dear poetess, I adore your impeccable poetic skills and the artistic way in which you weave emotions so effortlessly! This poem is absolutely well-deserved for the first place win & I can't help but be in awe of how deeply resonating this poignant write is.. I can connect to this in so many dimensions- "purging the hate that burns deep into my flesh and bones, where scars—old and new, like crestfallen stars;", "I choose myself above all wounds and wicked souls with nefarious intentions"

Ah my beautiful soul sis, do you ever write anything that doesn’t connect to me on so many deep levels? I see you’ve also used alliterations here and such descriptive diction to depict how one who is drowning in darkness choose to rise beyond nefarious intentions of the world. I am in absolute awe of the way you’ve phrased that so poetically in sheer eloquence, i love every word in this and this hits home for me as you speak my soul language. What a touching and powerful take. Congratulations

I felt such intense emotions as I read your poem...a bit of despair coupled with frustration. Oh, how we all yearn to be free of such thing. The images and lines were individually powerful. These words spoke to me: Sinister memories of yesterday, shape shifts hearts into strangers in disguise, breathing in discontent A good contest contender. Best wishes with the contest & have a splendid evening, Sara
