Stars In Your Eyes

Never- have I ever imagined this,
                             a touch, without touching,
                                                        a deep sigh -

                             curling with you in clouds of bliss . .
                     ( a poetic kiss ) as thoughts collide in the sky,

                               Love doesn’t ask why
             - even the wind feels the flutters of my heart -
                             stay with me
                                                stay like this

                            I have become so much more,
                                the one you simply adore


                                  The light touch of day, your guiding light -
                          light you truly desire,
             ( a constant fire )
      the moon shining so bright- a magical moment at midnight . . .
                                                        your sweet delight

                       A soft soothing lullaby,
          a beautiful melody whispering along painted skies,
                          swirling in the baby blue


                    ~ Stars in your Eyes ~
