Stars From Heaven
Stars from heaven,
When we were all small...
In the sand box we used to play,
Gather our little toys,
To bask in the land of make believe !
Oft' I would stand at the edge of the lonely street..,
Pause, for the moment to try to compose your thoughts,
As I slowly yet gently approached the plate,
Next to summon my cue in which to proceed,
The voice inside me continued..,
One moment people to lend me an ear,
Please have a seat to take off your mask !
Don't try to hide behind an empty screen..,
Instead try to play the fiddle on your one last string !
A bright flare of hope...
Let's all look at the stars from heaven..,
I just can't help but to come up with some sense of identity ?
The tender moments of love between a girl and boy...
Look at how high the Eagle dot soar !
Flying high for all the world to see !
A promise that was made in the dark hath now come into the light...,
Now look at the clock to watch the grand tick tock !
Suddenly, the stars from heaven had fallen from the sky,
My one final plea,
Try to love one another as the time passes you by !
