Stars Crossed

If our brains were constellations My stars were spinning Cloudier than the milky way I saw you across the room We danced Not with but beside each other Your galaxy is less muddled Your stars form constellations While mine lead to confusing conversations Were not Romeo and Juliet Our stars are not crossed They sit beside each other in the sky I’m desperate for mine to crash into yours Making us some sort of a sun Before we disappear into stardust And fade
