Stars Are Near

I miss bright Skies of Dakota night. Ever since I started into roam Memories of their sparkling beauty call me home, Persuading me to leave this place of steel and chrome. Dakota skies are so wide and clear, It seems as though from there Stars are near. By: Joyce Johnson 8/20/12 For Nette's contest "Night Melody"

Joyce, your final stanza is so beautiful for this type of verse. Also, I loved that imagery of steel and chrome to show the contrast of the two area!
