Stars

Stars have forgotten their lullabies
Mountains began to cry out rivers
skies have parted ways from the touch of the seas
grace has left the side of a wandering soul
he has carried the burden of his broken heart
Misfortune has landed him far away from love
Ever so slowly he forgot he was lost
kept wandering on the barren lands searching for unknown
He took sorrows to bed with him in the nights
suffering the consequences of the choices made
He looked for wisdom in his youthful days
where he once buried his smiles
The world has forgotten him, time has turned him old.
