Starlight of my Life When you found me I was Lost, teary and alone Alike a fledgling bird Fallen out from its home. From the first moment on I felt I’d found a friend You, my true love only Helped a damaged heart mend. You showed love is the way To finding happiness To rejoice and to sing For all life’s blessedness. You set my heart aflame Poetry in motion With a love that’s deeper Than the deepest ocean. There’s no star out in space That sparkles as you do You are a leading light I’ll always follow you.
