Starlight Amethysts
Amid blue spruce
I am
the forest, high
on chill-wind summits
shouldering summer snow
Mountains like gods
draped in fog-raiment
clutch at the starving sky
Hidden
in a glade of dew
beneath boughs
of dreaming rowan,
I breathe, release
form and thought,
rest in breath
of tree and stars
of moon and mountain
Stepping to a broken peak,
dwarfed by black
earth and sky,
I sit
a libation to the stars,
soaking and exuding life,
channeling celestial light.
Crafting
starlight amethysts
with haloed hands
