Starless Skies

To quell the anger of the earth's beating heart Spiritually parched and bleeding torn, scars; Yet still haunting visions of people apart Rendering resplendent sights, skies with no stars. The courageous lions roar hoping to mold Opposites to magnetic attraction, bold; Because they both become the same old pawns Drawn in and diluted, welcomed as hell yawns. I think this is the hardest things for most people to do. Accepting the things we cannot change. Very dramatic poem that speaks of this well. Best of luck in the contest.
