Starless Skies
in the absence of stars
i am reminded
of my aloneness
as i stand
on the edge
of my dreams
it's in the silence
of these darkest nights
that i hear your whispers
falling softly around me
i curl myself
within the comfort
found within thoughts
as i drift
to sleep
once more
(trying to get my muse off the virus... with better thoughts)
