Staring At Another Day
I am staring at another day of doing what I want
A whole day
Twenty-four hours
Not easy to embrace
It is too cold to go outside
I have called two friends and spent three hours
Painting in my studio
Great fun?
Not exactly.
Would be but...
My brushes are too used
Not as much fun now
Perhaps today
Happened for a reason
To show me how horrible It will be
To retire and have all day
To figure out where and
Who I will be
Also a wake up call
Showing me that I need
To order new brushes
If I expect to enjoy
Spring break In two weeks
Good plan, God.
Bravo!
Well played
Tenth snow Day of this Year...
