Stargazer Lily
I close my eyes and see shades of tangerine
with splashes of pink- sweetly serene.
Stargazer lilies bring ease;
sense them in the breeze
in mid-June-
starlit…
with the moon.
That Summer was mild
when the lilies grew so wild!
At her grave I leave one Stargazer...
so that in heaven my love will amaze her.
