Star Weaver
Such powerful magic she possesses,
star-weaver spinning her celestial silk
from which, she will crochet stars
and hang them in the obsidian sky.
Artistic daughter of Orion Alnilam,
great pearl of her father,
weaving silken lights;
her eternal duty as a goddess.
She is honor bound to create these lives,
replacing what her father hunted and killed.
“The sins of the fathers...” the good book says,
Even a goddess does penance,
but in a slightly different way.
For whatever reason, earth is quite fortunate
to live its lifetime, viewing her creations.
The celestial museum, repayment for past wrongs.
