Star of the Sea

On the sea of moon light
A ship sailed
Faerie glow
Star bright
A course to follow

Some journeys begin
Others, fate
A sails' reflected light
To take you into the night

This quiet lap of sea
Against the ship
The sweet perfume of wood
The stars
Following me

On a night
Filled with sky
Myriad stars
Turned
Swirls of light
Lit for you and I

It is in the dreams
That stars , so bright
On that quiet night
Could take me
As far as I could imagine
On a journey
About to begin

To follow a star
Upon the moonlit sea
The faeries soft glow on me
It is my destiny
