Star light star bright
Won't you guide my way
I'm lost without direction
Light my path this day
Lead me to my heart's desire
Who's waiting by the sea
Lead me to her waiting arms
Where she will comfort me
Star light star bright
Let me write your song
I'll sing of your compassion
As we stroll along
I'll tell them of your kindness
And how you shined so bright
I'll tell them how you lit my way
To my lover's arms one night
Star light star bright
You are the moon's delight
She shines for you to notice her
You are her shining knight
Just lead me a little farther
For I am almost home
Show me to my lover's smile
Don't leave me all alone
